Winstanley House Hotel - Leicester

Thoroughly enjoyed our stunning and immaculate rooms.

The food was decent with plenty of choice! The beds were lovely as were the pillows.

Food was fabulous and I have nothing but excellent memories from this trip. Fairly clean place and exceptional staff, loved unbeatable location. Location: the hotel was just off beautiful grounds with easy access and parking and city centre and Leicester. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, I slept well. Had a lovely view and the breakfast was freshly prepared.

Really good Staff and Delicious Dining

I was impressed by the really good service, especially from the front desk team, who made our check-in seamless. The sirloin steak served at dinner was the best I have ever had, paired with a breakfast that featured perfectly poached eggs. The atmosphere in the dining areas was cute, which enhanced our overall experience. I found the parking situation a bit of a hassle due to ongoing events.

The junior suite was spacious and well-appointed. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good with perfectly poached eggs.

bathroom setup was quite odd.

The sirloin steak was one of the best i've ever had, and the breakfast is worth waking up for-perfectly poached eggs! The ambiance was lovely for dining.

The beautiful setting and amazing staff left a lasting impression. The friendliness of the staff enhanced the experience, with a particular standout at reception who upgraded our room unexpectedly. The location revealed some issues like litter at the entrance and the room's cleanliness was concerning, including signs of wear and tear. While the staff's effort was commendable, the accommodation needs significant improvements to match its surrounding charm.

The decor in the Junior Suite was fine. I appreciated the friendly staff were pretty good. The breakfast was good, especially the perfectly poached eggs. The outdoor space provided a lovely backdrop for a morning walk. It was a fantastic atmosphere 😊

The room was absolutely stunning and the bed so comfy that I fell asleep instantly. I loved lounging by the beautiful garden area and enjoying the live music in the evening. A minor downside was the Wi-Fi could be spotty at times, but it didn't spoil my experience! 😊

Beautifully restored venue with cute staff

The staff were helpful, particularly during breakfast where the variety exceeded my expectations. I did find the noise levels from the bar disturbing at times, which detracted from the overall relaxation.

During my stay, I found the grounds and outdoor areas lovely for morning walks. Although the parking proved challenging due to ongoing events, the staff showed really good friendliness, making our experience enjoyable despite minor setbacks.

The junior suite was super spacious, giving us plenty of room to chill. Staff were super friendly, made the whole check-in process easy. Breakfast was tasty, although the roast veggies at lunch could've been better. The restaurant vibe was nice too!

The room was huge and really comfy, we even got a nice bottle of prosecco as a welcome gift. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially during our meal, and the overall atmosphere was just lovely. The location was great too for our weekend plans.

but the parking was a nightmare with all the wedding events going on, and the breakfast quality was disappointing, a bit like a budget hotel.

The junior suite was huge, with a tv, tea/coffee maker, and a lovely seating area. Enjoyed a relaxing spa session that totally rejuvenated us. Breakfast had freshly baked pastries and organic juices. The staff were helpful.

The gorgeous decor and ambiance were a delight, and I loved the well-stocked bar with well trained staff helping us pick the drinks.

The beautiful garden setting was complemented by a delicious breakfast featuring freshly made streaky bacon, steak, and tea, making my day here a great one that I would repeat.
